The Human Security Report Project’s Conflict Monitors are blogs that cover key news stories, research, and analysis on security issues in conflict-affected countries. In addition to reporting on the conflicts, the Monitors focus on a broad range of related issues including peacemaking and post-conflict peacebuilding, transitional justice, human rights, small arms, land mines, displacement, development, governance, gender, health, and education. Subscribers can receive updates to the Conflict Monitors by email or as an RSS news feed.

The Afghanistan Conflict Monitor posts four to six emerging stories each day, providing summaries and links to the latest news articles, research, and data. A comprehensive research hub, it also provides key statistics about the conflict and related issues, as well as links to the sites of individual researchers and organizations that offer additional information and analysis.
